(family relationships, martial, friendships etc.) 

  1. Keeping the relationship stable is taking a toll on you mentally, physically and emotionally.
  2. You feel like you always have to step in and fix the person(s) issues or you’re always somehow caught up in the middle of their mess.
  3. You don’t know how to walk away for the sake of your mental and emotional health. 
  4. You are caught in the cycle of being caught up in an argument with the individual only to have the individual apologize ending with you being by their side again.
  5. You feel like their backbone, except they aren’t yours. 
  6. The relationship causes you anxiety. 
  7. You try to slowly distant yourself, but it doesn’t work. 
  8. You sometimes believe that if you were to distant or disappear from the relationship completely they would become a mess. 
  9. They add stress to your other relationships. 
  10.  You think about parting ways often.
